diarrhea? On lantus since Tuesday -worried!

Kyndra has had VERY watery diarrhea since last night. Nothing has changed since beginning Lantus on Tuesday a.m. she get one unit 2x day. I called the vet and talked to tech and she said not from insulin. i have to be gone rest of day for a class. she has already gone 3 times today. i am worried she will become dehydrated. not sure what to do. will be here for 5 more minutes in case i can get a reply from someone!? searched boards could not find answer.

There could be lots of reasons -- including food especially if you've recently switched to a primarily canned food diet.

See if you can track down some probiotic -- ReNew Ulitmate is good and I've found it at Whole Foods. Your vet may stock FortiFlora or you can get it on-line. Plain yogurt with active cultures may also help, if your cat likes it.
