Any thoughts on numbers today? Is his PMPS considered a drop off from an otherwise flat day? He is seriously throwing me for a loop lately. Had such a good reaction initially to the .8 the first time and now .8 isn't doing anything.
 
It looks flat. The pmps is just within the 20% variance. Did you shoot or can you get another number? (I would bet that he is heading up, but wouldn't want to be surprised)

I' d give the .8 a few more cycles. Yes, it has been a little disappointing, but a yellow preshot is always good news.
 
I already shot the .8 tonight. I'm 99.9% sure he was headed up. He has surprised me more with high numbers than low numbers. I'm just confused because he'll have a yellow preshot one cycle and pink the next.. just kind of back and forth. We'll see how he does on .8 the next few cycles, but I suspect we'll be going back up.
 
Try not to get discouraged. Many cats take months to get used to the insulin and food and have both working together. He is on less than one unit of insulin - it's a tiny amount. And yes, he has more pinks than yellows right now, but that is much better than 400s.

You'll get this figured out and he will do fine. He is already doing really well.
