Hi All,
Just introduced myself on the other forum - our 7 year old Quiz was diagnosed on Friday. I've read a lot of food information on here and am thrilled to see so many of our usual Wellness and Weruva brands are fine for him - our other boy (Billy, leg amputated after accident last week too, it was one of those weeks!) will eventually eat the same foods as Quiz, just need to use them all up on him. Both won't be having dry food any more - Billy is finishing off the last of it.
I loved the Australian food brands page - was so helpful but I notice it hasn't been updated for a while. I'm trying to find some good treats for Quiz so he doesn't miss out.....but all the ones mentioned here including Wellness Shreds appear not to be available in Australia. Too expensive to get shipped from OS. So....has anyone found anything that is ok in Australia? All the calculations I've done at Petbarn mean that Temptations, Greenies etc are too high in carbs. I'm thinking of getting him some freeze dried meat - chicken or fish - thoughts?
Thanks everyone and it's so good to be here!
