Hi guys, I'm not sure if anyone has posted this or if it's the right forum but I just saw this on facebook in the feline diabetes group and it broke my heart, and I wanted to share it in case someone who lives there is willing to take him or knows someone who can. It's also on the diabetic cats in need website:

http://fdmb-cin.blogspot.ca/2013/03/jefferson-in-new-hampshire.html

The article on facebook says:
Jefferson in NH has been in rescue for over a month, and his rescuer has not started him on insulin (despite having it and other diabetic needs supplied by DCIN). Jefferson's condition has clearly deteriorated in the past month, as shown in the photo from left to right. DCIN would like to find a solution for Jefferson immediately. We don't think he is well enough to long-distance travel at this time.

Re: Diabetic Cat needs adoption New Hampshire urgent!

I already sent an email to Venita and Jennifer, DCIN case managers on long term fostering for Jefferson along with the DCIN foster/adopt application. I live in northeastern MA so just about anywhere in NH is within the 8-10 hour time limit Venita mentioned for travel.

There may be other interested fosters out there. Waiting and seeing.

That is so good to hear Deb, bless you and your generous heart :-D Do they still need people to adopt or is foster good, should I change my subject line? I don't know how all that works but I hope the decision is fast so he can be cared for:)
