Hi there! My cat Fluff is 11 and was diagnosed with diabetes in September. Right now she is not on insulin, as changing her diet from the gravy cat foods she loved to the low carb Fancy Feast pates (per my vet) has kept her levels in check. But the last several days she has decided she doesn't like the Fancy Feast pates that much anymore. Do you folks have other low carb wet food brand suggestions? I heard maybe Tiki Cat, but if there are others I would love to hear them. Thanks!

I'm attaching a chart that lists the majority of canned cat foods available in the US. It breakdown nutritional values, including carbohydrates. You have lots of choices!

You want to select foods that are under 10% carb -- although most people here feed their cats varieties that are in the 5% range (or less). Tiki Cat, Weruva, and ZiwiPeak are premium brands that are low in carbs and have good quality ingredients. Many people here also feed Friskies pates if cost is a concern.

Thank you for the info! My cat loved the pate flavors of Fancy Feast until a few days ago. It's weird. At least she still likes their natural ones in broth, so I will use those and then head to the store to pick up some of the Weruva and Tiki low-carb options from that huge list. Whoever the veterinarian is that compiled that list of nutritional info for all of the cat food is a godsend.

Awesome! I will definitely check out her website!
Good luck with finding a new food for Fluff! I expect you may have a few hits and misses before landing on something Fluff consistently enjoys. I went through so many foods with Lando after he refused FF pates. He ultimately accepted sheba pates ( its affordable and at the same markets as FF). Good luck!

I second the ones from Sheba. So far, Magic likes all of their flavors that’s I’ve tried. I’m still trying to get answers out of Purina.
