Buenas tardes, amigos -- I'm thinking of you all on this special day, October 27, and remembering all of the beloved sugar kitties who have gone ahead, as well as those who are still here, battling FD and winning every day, because every day they are with us is precious.
I wanted to share the ofrenda I made after @Karolina & Nestle posted that beautiful video a few days ago. It made me cry, and it also inspired me to grab a sheet of orange tissue paper and make six marigolds, one for each of the pets I've loved with all my heart and can never forget.
I'm so grateful to this forum for all the love and support that allowed me to have three years with Chispa beyond her diagnosis. It wouldn't have happened without your knowledge and the dedication of the moderators to helping at any hour, in any time zone, which is remarkable in itself. Know that I think of you all very often, even if I don't post, and that I wish you all peace, blessings, and quiet visits from your forever-beloved angels, today and throughout the year.
