Hi everyone,
Please help my friend Alain who lives in Quebec (Canada) who feeds his diabetic/CKD kitty with Evo chicken-turkey!
Evo is removing their cat food from the province of Quebec because of a labeling problem (for the french translation). We cant find any place that would be willing to send Evo to Quebec! It could be from any other Canadian province or from the USA (even tough I'm affraid he's going to have couple of surprises with the US-CAN customs). But right now any solution will be considered!
He has about 8 days of food left and literally called everywhere in Quebec to get the last couple of cans left in the stores that would sell some.
We tried putting Farine on different brands, and even raw meat (transitioning very slowly by mixing a tiny amount of the new food in her Evo), but as impossible as it sounds, even the 0% carb are worsening her BG levels! She only tolerates Evo chicken turkey! We even tried the Evo chicken turkey for dogs, but that was radically worse!
We are out of ideas and solutions here! And it sucks! Farine only needs a drop of insulin with Evo, but requires an increase if we change her food
Please if you know a possible solution, feel free to share it with us!
