Hello!,
My boy Ozzie has been insulin free for 2 years now. We are controlling his sugar through diet, straight wet food.
His non-diabetic brother also made the transition to all wet. The problem is, their teeth seem to be getting bad and breath stinks to high heaven on both. I've tried toothbrushes and pads, but they won't let me do those. Seeing how I have a diabetic, I assume regular dental treats are out of the question. What about rinses or water additive? Any advice would be appreciated.
I had my non-diabetic cats teeth cleaned a few years back which was incredibly expensive. I really don't have the money to do so now or am comfortable putting my babies under for it again.
Any advice, tips or tricks are appreciated!
Thanks!
Vivian Ozzie and Milo
