I always wondered how that was done, too, Traci. You and Merlin do that well together. Very helpful video for those with asthmatic cats...thanks for making it, Traci!

Are Merlin and Trinket back to being sweet buddies?

Thank you. My Sammy does not sit still so well and I've been struggling sometimes when he needs his puff. This is great.

I always wondered how you do it. Get demo. Great cat. How are those 2 getting along? Donna

Hi Donna-
Just like my little Boomer did, he comes right away when I call him. It's amazing. He knows exactly what to do. He lays down and I give him the puff. Usually Trink comes on the table too because she knows she'll get a treat also,.  Merlin jumps off the table and I throw the treats to him and he jumps really high to get them. He LOVES it. The treat is the key!!!

Merlin has gotten SO much better since Trink's out of the cage and regularly interacting with him and maybe the AC helped too. Not sure. I have a calming collar on him and a feliway thingie. He does not seem worried and meowing like he was. I've even caught them cuddling! I think they are on their way to trusting each other again.

Hi Eva-

Half the battle is gone by having that high table. It's so easy because he's at my level and all I have to do is lean over him. The tendency is for them to start backing up so you have to stay behind them. Some people hold the cat but to me that's harder.

The reason I made the video was because there is a new lady on health from Hungry with an asthmatic who had never done it. Since Merlin's so good at it I thought he'd be a good demo cat.

And yup, my guys are getting along and seem to trust each other much more!

I didn't realize Sammy was an asthmatic. It's not so hard to care for asthmatics when you get the process down. It took me a little while to get the right dosage. After a little while of doing it he chilled out and will relax with the mask over his face. I bet your little guy will too.

Traci, so happy to hear they are back to becoming friends. That's what you always wanted. Me too. Shadow is not quite the bully he was earlier. Just testing the ropes, I guess. I can feel the sadness starting now that it's been almost a year since Shi's been gone. Shaddy and Starla have been so healing for me. I miss Kaely and Shiloh so much tho. Your cats are beautiful, by the way. Donna
