Low carb wet cat food appears to be mandatory for weight loss in diabetic feline. I came across 'Ultimates Indulge' at Woolworths in tins.

Tuna with shredded Chicken Breast and prawn. Back label says-
Metabolizable Energy 500 Kcal/Kg
Protein 10.0 (min%)
Fat 1.0 (min%)
Carbohydrates 1.0 (max%)
Are these figures real /true ? Is this a good weight loss food? Confusing.

Yes I think these are low carb. Can you take a photo of the ingredients which are on the back so we can see please? copy and paste the photo into here.
I posted a link on your other thread about Aussie caregivers and it has info about food in it. The weruva brand is no longer available in Australia as far as I know though.

Weight loss food.

Those cans of Ultimate Indulge are not a complete food nutritionally. It says in the back of the can…for supplemental feeding. So you need to be feeding other foods that are complete foods as well as these.
They are low carb so can be given for a diabetic cat but you need to be using other cans that have AAFCO on the can which means they are a complete food.
Is your kitty overweight?

Yes Kitty has gone down from 7.4kg to 6.7kg and we want to keep the trend going. Just exploring food options.
