Dec 22 Meme high AMPS 212 (AT) after vomiting and no appetite, skip AM shot!!

I just tested for her AM shot and it was high around 212 on Alfa Track, i notecid that her BG was high yesterday also and as usual i was waiting for hairballs but nothing and today she just vomited 6 hours before her AM shot but not hairball only food, and as i expected her BG raised more and she is not interested in food, only ate a bite of FF salamon treat, thought i can shot but i am affraid that she might drop fast !!

Her stomach really sensitive, never thought that vomiting can rise her BG like that, it happened before but this number is the highest, hope it is not an infection or something bad.

Is this treat enough to make me shot or should i skip??
 
My concern is with DKA....does she have any history of it?

With Lantus, you can shoot if they don't eat because the onset of action isn't usually for 2-3 hours (so you have that time to get them to eat) BUT they need to be willing to eat and not refusing due to something else going on

Do you have any ketone test strips?

No she has no history DKA, her last blood works was fine. She usualy go high even with simple haiball this is not the first time. Her stomach get upset so fast and always her BG rise aftet vomiting.

Yes i have ketone strip, i will do the test to be sure that is nothing else.

She is acting fine and i shot any way just to bring her BG down, hope she will eat in few hours.
