I would normally use my sinus spray bottle, with a mix of warm water and salt, to wash things out. But that is not recommended currently, with the coronavirus. Because that can force any virus particles deeper into the nasal passages.

So hot tea, hot soup.

At least my heat is back on and I'll have hot water from my faucets again soon. Darn oil nozzle was clogged, from a delivery more than 2 weeks ago. Every thing was fine, until this evening. All fixed now.

Yes, definitely re-check both - a lot of places that don’t normally do telemedicine are doing it temporarily now during this coronavirus situation.

Also, for what it’s worth, you could try taking some zinc supplements. There’s some evidence that zinc is toxic to this kind virus (along with many other viruses) - supposedly it makes it harder for the virus to get into your cells, at least in cell culture in the lab. There’s also been a couple of studies that have shown that high dose zinc supplements reduce the length of the common cold in humans. That’s why I’ve got the big bottle of it that comes out every time I feel under the weather :)

Not only does my health provider location not offer telemedicine, but they have shut down 15 of their practice locations in the Boston area, as of 3/31/2020.

All non-urgent, elective care visits are being rescheduled or suspended until further notice.
CVS Minute Clinics do not offer Video Visits in Massachusetts.
