Elliot is currently being boarded at a vet's office in Hartsdale, NY while we arrange a transport for him to Don in VA. His situation is turning dire and we need to get him out of the vet's office into some sort of stable environment where he can calm down. He isn't eating, drinking, or getting his insulin. He has neuropathy. He would need to be kept in a small, safe space, away from other critters. He is very frightened after going through many changes in the last year of his life. At his original foster mom's house he was a calm, easy going, sweet kitty. We moved him to a potential foster in NYC who, due to the aggression that Elliot began displaying, declined to take him in. He would possibly do better with a woman for now until we can move him to Don's. I want to emphasize that this is a domesticated kitty. He has always done well around everyone until we attempted this transfer to a new foster home 2 days ago. We are trying very hard to put a transport together for Saturday, Oct. 1.

If you can help us please email me at Transport@ DCIN.info (remove the space)

Please help. please share this with anyone in the area that may be able to help.

Thanks,
Claudia

Re: DCIN-- Urgent Help Needed, White Plains NY

Praying here in Minnesota that this poor confused baby will find his forever home and be able to calmly lay in a lap and accept the cuddles and petting of his very own person... please God.

Re: DCIN-- Urgent Help Needed, White Plains NY

Claudia - I just replied to your e-mail. We can foster him here until we transport to Don. But I can't get up there to pull him.

Is there anyone in NY or Northern NJ that can go get him? (Don't let the NY scare you - if you go over the Tappan Zee bridge it's easy to get to.) I can meet you in Northern NJ late afternoon or evening to get him...

I wish I were closer (it's a 6-hour trip for me to get to While Plains). I sure hope a ride can be found for this dear kitty who has been through so much. Fingers and paws crossed.

I am so glad a place has been found. Now Elliot can relax and play a little.
