Hi everyone!

Sammy (http://fdmb-cin.blogspot.com/2011/08/sammy.html) is hopefully going to be traveling to her fur-ever home on Saturday, Sept. 10. We are in desperate need of drivers to help us make this trip possible. The trip will be starting out in the morning in Chicago, and we already have a super-bean who is doing the Chicago to Coal City leg. We are looking for wonderful folks who can drive the following legs:

Coal City, IL to Bloomingon, IL
Bloomington, IL to Springfield, IL
Springfield, IL to Edwardsville, IL-- Found a driver!
Edwardsville, IL to Eureka, MO (in the area of Six Flags) -- Found a driver!

We are waiting on the results of the biopsy on her mammary mass. If it is cancerous, she will likely be pts. If not, though, we will go forward with the transport! Paws crossed!

Bump!

It doesn't appear to be cancerous!! The vet says it's a fatty lipoma. Wonderful news, which means the transport in on...which means we need 2 more drivers to do the following legs:

Coal City, IL to Bloomington, IL
Bloomington, IL to Springfield, IL

Help us help this sweet kitty find her way home!

Thanks for everyone's efforts, and those who volunteered to help, and those who sent kind thoughts! We weren't able to fill those last 2 dang legs, so tonight I booked Sammy on a flight to her fur-ever home. Thanks again!
