I know I have not been on the board for quite a while due to my own health issues.

I wanted to let everyone know that DC crossed the Rainbow bridge this morning.
It has been a very difficult time for me and I had to make the decision last night to help DC cross over.
I am not dealing with it very well and I will write a memorial post another day.

I switched to a new vet a few months ago and he was wonderful with DC.
He helped me make the decision and I had to do what was best for DC as much as I wanted to keep him with me, I couldn't prolong this.
I just found out that he had cancer in his bladder and he was deteriorating extremely fast. I couldn't let him suffer.

I want to thank everyone who helped me with his long journey with diabetes.

RIP my beloved. You are now with your brother again.

I am so sorry for your loss (((Noreen)))

I know how hard it is, especially during the holidays.

I hope J.D. and DC will become friends now and have great play romps together.

((((((((((Noreen)))))))))) I am so sorry to hear about DC. He has gone to join his brother and the many fur friends who have crossed over recently. This has been a very sad month in LL, but our hearts cry with yours at the loss of your wonderful boy. wings_cat

(((((Noreen))))) I am so sorry for your loss. I lost Shadow in April and Raja just joined her brother so they
are there with DC now. It is so very very sad and I hope that your memories will ease your pain a little....
we never have enough time with them, do we? Sending you condolences and lots of hugs ....we are all

I'm so sorry it was time for DC to cross the Bridge. It is a terribly hard decision to make no matter when or why. I hope you know in your heart that you always did the best for your kitty and this was no different.

Fly free DC and land softly. There are many friends from Lantus Land who have recently crossed who will be there to keep you safe and to play with you until you are reunited with the one you love best.

(((Noreen))). I am so sorry for your loss. When I started on FDMB I remember seeing how much you loved and cared for DC. It is so hard to let them go. :YMHUG:

I am saddened to hear of the loss of your baby, DC. One of the hardest decisions in life is to know when to let our beloved kitties fly free. You were a wonderful mom to DC and you were able to give him the ultimate gift of love by helping him cross the Rainbow Bridge. Big hugs.

Dear ((((Noreen)))),

DC is flying free on his beautiful new golden wings. Look for hIs star in the heavens tonight. He is sending you his love and his graditude for setting him free of pain and illness. Our GAs at the Bridge are welcoming him and he will be reunited with his brother and many old friends. Fly free, DC, and send your mamabean a sign that you have safely arrived at the Bridge. You are much loved.

Our thoughts are with you tonight, Noreen.

In deepest sympathy,

Ella & Edward, Rusty, and Stu (GA)

Noreen I am so very sorry to read of DC's crossing. I hope the memories will be of comfort to you. He will always be bear, tucked away in that corner of your heart. Fly free DC. You will be greatly missed.

DC is healed now, and not too far away; I know he'll visit you and you'll feel him near you every day. I'm sorry that he had to cross, that you had to make the decision to help him go, which is so hard, and I'm sorry that you haven't been feeling well. I'm glad that your new vet has been a good friend to you and to DC through all of this. What a comfort that can be.

We're all here for you, and have shared the wonderful days and the heartaches. So please post again when you're ready so that we'll know how you're doing.

Georgette and Clare
