AM Post
Mouzer's 4 P's All Good - Peeing, Pooping, Purring, Perky
Mouzer ate 3oz for brekky! He ran to meet me at the bathroom door, like he does when he is not in pain and wanting to eat up his food!
I was so tickled glad to see this for him. And tickled to see the 71bg for ambg.

Last night, Mouzer had 53 pmbg at +2, which I checked due to giving him the Blood Sugar Gold when he was 55 at pmbg - just to make sure that stuff isnt making him go lower to some worry level. I feel ok with giving it to him now, on low numbers, so I wont have to test him like that after pmbg, as long as he has not done a high rise at pmbg. I also gave him the Immune Sure and Comfort Gold last night and I have given all three of these products to him this morning.

As for the CG - She has a busy day and must get out of here hahaha
You all have a great day!

Do you give Lysine? I know others here give it for other reasons (herpes?).

http://stomatitisincats.com/review-of-lysine-for-cats

Tommy Cat has been on Lysine for cats, since his stomatitis diagnosed in August of 2014. Mouzer began Lysine for Cats in August of 2016, upon his diagnosis. Tommy Cat and Mouzer have stomatits. I also have Snoball, Tootsie Roll, Wombat, Baby Mama, Little Mama, Teddy Bear, Snookie, Winky, Woody, Nora, Sox and Solo on Lysine for Cats and these all started on it at the end of 2015, due to various issues. They all also get a probiotic.

Lysine is used for quite a many issues but it all boils down to that it builds up the immune system. Upper respiratory issues, leaky eyes, bothersome teeth, stomatitis, calicivirus, FIV, herpes, etc... - all of these types of things have to do with the immune system. Tommy Cat's blood work showed he needed help with his immune system. Three months on Lysine for Cats, we did another blood work and his immune system numbers were already above normal. They began well below normal, before Lysine for Cats.
Tommy Cat is FIV+.
The vets do use Lysine for Cats but the vet, we had, was laughing at me for using it with Tommy Cat, until we took that blood work that showed his immune system numbers rose above normal with it - I cant remember if it was red or white blood cell count -- whichever one of those are the fighting ones lol that number went way up with using Lysine for cats.

That link you gave is actually the first link I read, when Tommy Cat was diagnosed. But that woman is also using a steroid for her kitty. She is looking at quality of life vs quantity of life, which is how I have had to learn to look at it for these two stomatitis kitties - except the steroid caused Mouzer's diabetes and now I really am hoping to find no steroid for help and still provide quality of life.

I have other things that I have used but none seemed to be doing any help, so not using them - CoQ10 is one of those things - yellow dock root and another product, I cant think of the name right off, were used for a time too, but didnt appear to help.

The Pet Well being products, I am now using, for stomatitis, cant be used with blood thinners lolol
And I ordered the Chamomile Tea and Slippery Elm Bark - both blood thinners - so I cant use those. I also ordered CBD Oil - which acts as a blood thinner - so I cant use that. I ordered Cosequin and it also has blood thinning properties, so I cant use that lol I dont know what to do with this stuff lolol those four items are around $100 or maybe a little more. I will keep it all for a while, in case the Pet Wellbeing products only work for a while - and I am not positive but I think 14 days off of the Pet Wellbeing products is the time frame before using something else. I know it is the time frame before any steroid shot should be given.
The three Pet Wellbeing products, the one for diabetic cats and the two for stomatitis cats, cost approx $150 and would have been approx $135 but I paid extra to get the stomatitis products here in two days because it was an emergency for Tommy Cat - and there is one more Pet Wellbring product that works for gums, but I have to ask them if it can be given with the two stomatitis products I have.

It's great to hear Mouzer is feeling better. Happy Day 9!

Nice work keeping it green Mouzer! :D

I am glad of it hahaha :D

Great to see he got rid of those blues, I wonder what all that was about.

Keep it Green Mouzer:D:D:D

You and all those dancing cats always make me smile so big hahaha
I think maybe Mouzer was hurting worse yesterday, so inflammation would have been even more inflammation. It is the inflammation that causes so much pain. So, maybe that is why the higher numbers. And it could be that blood sugar gold is helping and I didnt use it that night before - I still cant say that one for sure but I do see this pain product is helping because Tommy Cat is being able to lap up broth and Mouzer is eating more. As for the Immune Sure, I dont know how to tell that is working. It is to help the weaker immune system so it can fight harder against the infection from stomatitis but these cats aint gonna let me look in their mouths to find out hahahaha

Being as I do see the Comfort Gold for pain is working, I have to take it for granted that the Blood Sugar Gold and Immune Sure are doing something good.
I think if we can keep Mouzer's stomatitis under control, that alone will help with his bg levels.

I could hope people would donate to the fundraiser I have for Tommy Cat and Mouzer to have their teeth extracted but it is a whole lot of money needed and it will take a whole lot of people to donate and share the fundraiser all over every where, so people who can donate will see it. I have had Tommy Cat in prayer ever since he was diagnosed and I keep telling God - I know you havent healed him but here I am, still asking you to please heal my kitty from this dreadful disease ---
And Mouzer has been included in that prayer since his diagnosis and especially since he got diabetes!

pain/inflammation can raise BG

I think doing what you can will help.
