Hello to all of you;

Davidson turned 15 on April 15th and it was also his 3 year anniversary date for being in remission. He's doing extremely well, in great physical shape and behaves like a kid along with his brother Harley.

We are all so appreciative of the FDMB as without many of you, Davidson would not be where he is today.

SO THANK YOU ALL!!!!!

Hopefully this sends lots of encouragement to many of you who are dealing with diabetes, and to let you know there is at times light at the end of the tunnel.

Love to see the success of Davidson!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. The only thing I've done is kept both Guys on Fancy Feast wet food and freeze dried chicken treats. They get plenty of play time and spoiled rotten. I test Davidson's blood monthly just to keep myself in check, and he's always low even after feeding. I think the hardest part for most is to test often and with many having to work daily,it's not easy. I was lucky to have worked from home,so I literally tested every 30 minutes to catch the nadir and was able to adjust the insulin accordingly. Davidson was lucky to have only been on the juice for 3 months, but initially he was really sick.

Don't give up, it's a lot of work but they are your family and well worth your effort. I am still helping others, as my Vet refers their patients to me as they know I'm more familiar then they are. Again, if it weren't for many on here (unfortunately still sadly here) I'm not sure where we'd be.

This is such a great forum with endless amount of people willing to help. Don't give up on your cats - they need you to make them better.
