I got my laptop back on Monday and the malware is gone - yay! So is $200 but at least I can take in 3 machines for diagnostics to Geek Squad for a year. Once my family is out of here next week I need to post a tribute thread to Cedric in grief.

anyway, my fingers are crossed that Dallas has finally gotten over the food switch. he has now had 2 whole meals of only Nature's Variety Instinct limited ingredient duck & pea. His snack today is just this as well. We still get up in the middle of the night to give him his denamarin pill. He will end up going back for another blood test one day next month and I am hoping that his ALT value will go down instead of up. Keep us in your prayers!

Looking forward to Cedric's tribute.

I was thinking about Cedric last night. I am fostering a mother and kittens and have to come up with names for them. I think there is an orange and white baby (I pick them up tonight) in the bunch.
 
Way to go Dallas. Figured out mom was not trying to poison you and the new food is yummy.

We must of all had Cedric on the brain yesterday. I'm picking up an orinch diabetic foster named Casey today and thought of the fact that your boys were named for baseball players.

Cedric was the name he came with and since I was looking to adopt a girl, I had no new name for him. He was pretty much "Cedric the Entertainer" anyway. I should include a link to his youtube video of his fascination with the toilet.

Dallas is named after Dallas Greene, who was the manager of the 1980 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Since Venita's black & white boy Ennis was named after a former Phillie, I decided to name the stray I was feeding after one as well. Tug (for Tug McGraw, pitcher for that team and Tim's dad) just didn't fit. So instead of a Mike (Schmidt) or Steve (Carlton), I picked the manager's neat name. It was his young granddaughter that was one of those killed in that shooting in Tucson last year (Congresswoman Gabby Gifford's shooting).

Anyway, he's still ok with the duck, so I ordered some from Chewy this morning and am going to the pet food shop to get him some more after work.

Oh, and Robin, if your little white and orange/tan boy is an entertainer, feel free to use the name. :smile:
 
Neat history with the names.

While I certainly have "entertainers" destroying my study right now, they are mostly gray and white so I am taking a list of names home to try on them. I have an orinch tabby too (civvie) - but his name is Bing!!!

I get my Tiki by auto-delivery from Chewys also but just got a notice that they are out of half my order ohmygod_smile
so I will have to go to the local store and pay the huge markup on it.

I would love to see the video
