HE IS DOING BETTER AS HE'S BACK UP FROM 70 TO 244. I WILL CHECK AGAIN BEFORE BEDTIME AND THEN IN THE MORNING BEFORE HIS SHOT, WHICH I WILL JUST GIVE LOW DOSE 1

Just stopping in to say "Welcome"! It sounds like you and Dabey had quite a day today. Please keep posting here in LantusLand and asking questions...the folks here are very generous with their knowledge and support. It really is the best place for you and your diabetic kitty to be.

Have you heard about spread sheets yet? It's where we track our kitties numbers. If you look at our signatures, we all have links to our spreadsheets. These really help the experience people give us advice on what to do next, so I would suggest setting up a spread sheet as soon as you have a chance. We're a very numbers-driven group, and you can see why those numbers are so very important!

checked him at 11:45 before going to bed and he was 341....

I tried to bring up spreadsheet but not with my computer...Didn't have time to mess with it. I'm writing down figures for my vet.
Exhausted and so is Dabey, his poor ears....

If you have problems with the SS, there's help over in the tech forum, and there are people here who can help you get set up as well. Just post that you need help in your subject line, and use the little question mark icon thingie.

Good Morning Kathy. You can start a new thread for Today.
The Subject line should read something like 10/16 Dabey AMPS 200 or whatever the test number is...and you can add the word QUESTION or ADVICE PLEASE if needed.
