A little over a month ago I took my 13 year old kitty to the vet, feeling quite certain he was hyperthyroid. After blood work and a physical exam, we discovered his BG was on the high side (324 at the vet, closer to low to mid 200s at home). The vet seems pretty sure he may have Cushing's.
If your cat was diagnosed with Cushing's, what physical symptoms did you experience and what kind of testing did you have done to confirm the diagnosis? It seems that doing the ACTH stim test is one of the more concrete ways to check for it (I know a little about this from being tested myself around 10 years ago - I was negative for it). Any drawbacks to it?
