Curve test

Hi everyone , first Happy Easter. Did Tyler's first curve test at home.I hope I didn't screw it up. I first tested his blood glucose, wrote it down, then I fed him, then waited about 25 minutes and gave him his insulin. Then tested his sugar every 2 hrs. When I googled it, it said to feed first, that can't be right. I'm pretty sure my vet told me to test his sugar first, then feed, then give insulin. I hope I did it correctly. Thanks
