Curve/dosing advice

Hey friends. We did Oswald’s curve about 5 days ago and I was advised to keep the dose for a few more days to see if the bounce resolves. Can anyone take a look and tell me, Should I adjust dosing as of now? If so how much? Or should I do another curve day to get more of an idea what’s going on? Thank you in advance!

Here's your previous thread. Here we put the link to our previous thread so people can quickly go back and see what's been going on.

I think you could go up to 1.25 but it would help to get a few more tests in at different points in the cycle, not only at +6. The nadir isn't always exactly at the mid-point. Some cats nadir early, some nadir later in the cycle.

Think of your spreadsheet like it's a puzzle...the more pieces (tests) you have sprinkled around, the easier it is to see what the picture is. If the only pieces you have are along the sides and down the middle, it makes it a lot harder to know whether it's a pair of puppies, kittens or one of each ;)

It's good to see some tests on the PM cycle too. Just an FYI...if you can get a +2 or +3, a lot of times that can almost predict how the rest of the cycle will go.

If the +2 is about the same as the PS, it's usually a pretty normal cycle...gradually down to nadir then gradually back up again.

If the +2 is higher than the PS, that can signal the beginning of a bounce and on those cycles, you can usually take a break in poking.

If the +2 is lower than the PS, that's your early warning that he might be going a lot lower later in the cycle and that's when you need to really plan on getting more tests in.

How goes the effort to cut out the kibble?

Wow that’s a lot of very helpful information! Thank you. He didn’t much care for the kibble anyway and much prefers to have the canned food “snacks” between meals. So luckily it’s be an easy transition. His sister gets kibble for her snacks and he doesn’t even try to go eat it!(he notorious for stealing her food)
