Creepy things in Templeton's pee just now HELP!

Templeton just went pee and this is what was in the pee.

Anyone have any experience or know what it is?

Tested and Leukocytes are high and blood is present in the sample, showing high.
The stuff IRL looks like steak muscle fiber, not worms.

Internet says maybe blood clot?

Not too many photos of feline urine to be found disappointingly, most human.

On 6/26 I took him in because his belly had been distended for about 2 weeks (thought it was just bc he was gaining weight fast- ~1 oz a day), leukocytes still high after his Clavamox course in early May, and he also still didn't have solid poo since starting the Clavamox.
Vet said belly swelling was borderline worrisome, did cysto for the c&s sample, and did ultrasound to look for fluid.
No fluid found, culture came back negative.
Diarrhea stopped 7/4, leukocytes went back to normal on 7/6, and belly is less distended.

It’s a little hard for me to see exactly what’s going on in the photos but I have a cat with weird pee issues and sometimes pees put clumps that look crystally. Our vet said that they can get mucus in their urinary tract which can get peed out and look like crystals or mucus. Maybe what you are seeing are stringy mucus threads?

It’s a little hard for me to see exactly what’s going on in the photos but I have a cat with weird pee issues and sometimes pees put clumps that look crystally. Our vet said that they can get mucus in their urinary tract which can get peed out and look like crystals or mucus. Maybe what you are seeing are stringy mucus threads?

Maybe I need the whole litter box for scale. lol.
Mucus, ok hmm. That sounds better than blood clot.
It honestly doesn't look that different to certain things that arrive at certain times of the month, just less red. Makes me think blood clot when I think about it that way...

On the subject of weird pee, is foaming anything to be concerned about?

I answered on the other thread. Could be FLUTD. Sheba used to get it and she would have blood in the urine periodically.

It's a little bit hard to see and I can't seem to be able to enlarge the image, but sometimes with UTI the tissue in de urine conducts and the bladder gets irritated and it generates something that resembles mucus and some very tiny pieces of actual tissue , I think it kind of looks like fat bit semitransparent, come out when they pee some times with a bit of blood too. I would get a urinalysis as soon as possible

And if Templeton is a male ( not sure sorry) you should monitor him closely because he could get obstructed and not be able to pee and that is potentially very dangerous

Thanks. I'd say it looked like tissue, not mucus, but bad either way.
Yeah, he's a male and I have read the scary amputation stories yeek.
Luckily he goes on plastic waste bin bags now so I can monitor each and every pee.

Hi! Just a thought . . . Foamy urine can mean spilling protein in the urine, meaning kidneys might need checking..

Yes, males can get blocked fairly easily, which as said above is dangerous and needs prompt attention. Act quickly (get to vet) if only small amounts of urine are happening.

This is what I thought too…. That it could be protienuria . My Zimmy had that

Thanks for the input! And of course I failed to test the foamy pee. But I've never seen any protein in his pee, so that's good.
And yes, straining to pee is about my worst nightmare.
