You need to change something in your User Control Panel. Here is what he said:

Hi,
The problem appears to be that when the board was upgraded, the default style (prosilver) was not upgraded. There are numerous javascript errors (invisible unless you have a special debugging browser). You can get around the problem by changing the board style to one that works (prosilver Special Edition).

To do this, click on "User Control Panel" near the top, then on the "Board Preferences" tab and set "My board style" to "prosilver Special Edition". Click "Submit", and your problems will be cured. Things will look a bit different, but not hugely. The other choice (subsilver2) presents a rather completely different and unfamiliar interface to this message board.

Great news for the work around. What I don't understand is why I never lost my smilies in prosilver. Oh well,

Thank you, Craig! (You must have magical powers, because I didn't make the change you suggested and I got the smilies back anyway (only just saw this post). But if it happens again in the future, I'll know what to do! :smile:

Thank you Craig :-D Funny thing is, I was playing with the preferences last night, but didn't like the colors. Never dreamed it would give back the smiles. I can live with silver. :-D
