Nikko hit his first green number since devouring 1/4 box of crackers last week. YAY! This has been a looong OTJ trial (day 14 now) but I also think this is good for me to understand what carbs do to a cat that's in/close to remission.
That low carb diet it so, so important for our sugar babies and this is a life long diet!
I'm not going to consider Nikko in remission until I see that he can fully recover from this. If I'm seeing good numbers between now and Sunday (greens and low blues) I'll commence the party. Until then... we wait.
