So after a terrifying week....Cookies numbers are looking normal with no insulin since yesterday morning...I attached the thread with all the great advice and support I got here....hopefully I did it right ..Cookies BG was at 93 at 6:30 p.m. last night and tested again at 10 p.m. and she was at 83 and I panicked....I panicked at normal so I am told LOL ....She was at 147 at 5:30 a.m. this morning before food and 139 at 7 a.m. an hour and a half after food so I didn't give her last nights or this mornings insulin and plan to do a curve and test every couple hours....she's walking much better....its amazing she's even walking ....and jumping up on stuff ....no pain meds...this is worlds away from where we were just a few days ago.......so Cookie's story is testament that that if you ride out the storm...even the worst episodes can pass....I didn't think we were going to be able to save her she was in such bad shape.......I'm hoping things continue to improve with her....thank you so much to everyone who shared their knowledge...and kinds words...this forum has been a Godsend ..

Here's where we are thus far: since 5: 30 this morning every 2 hours: 5: 30 a.m. 147- with 1/2 can of food 139 , 118 - with 1/2 can of food, 106 , and just now 80. And here's where I got nervous last night...the 80's ...why do they freak me out so bad.
