I'm not sure if this is something I should be worried about or not. I've noticed that after I give Toby his insulin, he sometimes coughs as if he's trying to get up a hairball. It's usually only a few seconds followed by some swallowing. He hasn't thrown up in weeks and sometimes he eats right after one of these episodes. I also have been giving him a small piece of freeze-dried salmon after tests & shots. Perhaps he's allergic? The only other thing I can think of is asthma, but I don't remember him doing this that frequently before. I've seen him do it if he drinks his water too fast.
I have a video that I'll be showing my vet at our visit tomorrow, but it won't let me upload it here.
