I haven't posted here much but I have read a lot since I joined this forum. I have had my diabetic foster cat Cotton for just two months now. Today I came home from work and he was lying on the bed. Yes, I said he was lying on the bed. Two months ago he could barely walk! Tonite I put some temptations up on the bed and yup, he jumped up there to get them! His nose that used to be one complete scab has almost totally healed. His last couple of BG readings have been on the low side so I am going to start reducing his insulin. He fully transitioned to Fancy Feast pate a couple of weeks ago and I am praying that his numbers will continue to go down. Thank you so much for all your help support and knowledge. I think it will change Cotton's life and give him a better chance at a furever home!
