Thanks D, for rallying the troops and listening to me cry earlier. Not that i've really stopped.
I'm glad he's home. I love this boy so much, my heart feels like it's breaking. Breaking so hard that it's literally bursting.
While his demeanor hasn't been super alarming (except for a couple coughy wheezy noises and the faster than normal breathing sometimes, but no panting), he's not eating. He's not eaten well for two days now. Last time when he came home after the open-mouthed breathing episode, he dug right in. Granted, yesterday was a much more severe episode than the first one, but I thought he'd be eating by now.
I gave him a dose of mirtz at 1130pm (an hour ago). I mixed it with some gravy juice from a FF can, but he wasn't having any of it. Maybe 1/3 of the dose went in. The rest, he managed to drool and slobber out of his mouth.
The long and the short of it is that if he won't eat, I think I'm going to have to make the decision that no one here wants to make for their furries. For those of you who don't know him, Cosmo loves food. The biggest indicator that he's having a pancreatitis attack (other than the puking) is that he won't eat his treats.
Well. he's not puking, and he's not interested in food. So.. .please send your strongest "EAT EAT EAT" vibes if you have some to spare.
Thanks for all the well wishes folks. I feel like we've taken more than our fair share lately, but my boy needs 'em.
