Well... We are in the pinks this morning! I'll take it as a win

He is alert this morning, with pretty severe neuropathy still, but trying to get around.

I am hoping his BG was lower overnight, he seems to have his nadir +6. Looking forward to his +6 today. Maybe even try a different color on the SS?

443 at +6. Hoping he is slowly coming down. Maybe tomorrow we can get out of red and into the pinks.

Hi Tanya! That's a mighty handsome fellow in that picture! My Luci saw that pic and her eyes just popped!!! She thought for a moment that she was looking in the mirror! Even the white spot on the nose!

It takes time for the insulin to take effect...just be patient. Those numbers will come down in time and the nephropathy will improve. Several experienced members here have dealt with that and they can help you with additional suggestions.

If you posted yesterday (or recently) could you please copy/paste the url from that post into this one - for continuity. It's helpful to folks like me who don't get to visit every day (I have a crazy job)...to see what was said previously.

Yayy! Finally some sunshine over here!!!

I'd like to wait a day or so now that my hubby isn't sneaking kibble at night LOL. Cosmo seems perky and more active today. I am hopeful he may have filled his depot and he may be on the way down based on his behavior today

He just saw a patch of sunshine and hobbled his way over to sunbathe... He also played today (a bit). Hoping that translates into a good PMPS.

I know we will need to increase...now that we have a new constant (without kibble), I'd like to see where that goes for a day or so first.

Don't bounce Cosmo! Looks like we got his depot filled!

He's a bit constipated this am from the food change, I think. Had an enema a few weeks ago...hope it's not a repeat. He did get a couple round turds out this morning. Sorry for the morning poop news.

And... Then seemed to get the rest of a good, large #2 just a moment ago.

He does have some significant neuropathy... Do you think it may be causing some #2 issues? Anything besides b vitamins and lowering his BG that might help?
