cosequin not good for diabetic cats?

was just doing some research on internet and some site said that glucosamine was not supposted to be given to daibetic cats. didn't say why. does anyone know why that is? it also said on another site that it could raise blood pressure. i;'ve been giving her cosequin off and on for about 5 years when she was high blood sugar and everyting. didn't seem to hurt her any. anyone know what this is about?

Never heard that & my cats have been on it for 2 yrs..No worries from here..

Witn was on Cosequin for over two years and it did not seem to affect her BG levels. I'm not sure why that article says not to give it to diabetic cats.

Spader was on it for years with no side effects.
