What did you feed him? You sent this message 7 minutes ago. So if you feel more co then make your next test 20 minutes from when you gave the snack. Don’t panic. 65 is okay on a human meter. We will not let him drop below 50, that’s all.

Did he have his +2 snack this morning? Sometimes you say he won’t eat at +2 and my answer to that is to feed a little less at breakfast and then give him the rest as a +2 snack.

Also, today I would give him a little more than just the ham. How many pieces of ham does he get at this time usually?

Okay. I need to go syringe feed my cat. It’s now 11:07 and you said you were going to test at 11:00. I have no way of knowing if you or Corky are okay. I do believe Corky is going to be fine, but I can’t sit here all day waiting.

He is surfing in green. Now that things are stable please remove the question marks and help from the thread title. Just change it to Corky’s greens or something like that.

Reminder: with the Modified ProZinc method that you are following, the reduction point is 50 and Corky was not at or below 50. Our goal is to keep him from dropping below 50 and Corky did great with just his usual ham snack and no extra carbs. This dose is very good for him right now. I totally understand your concern though because Corky doesn’t normally drop below 70 — so 65 is a bit of a new number for you. But it’s great to see how he really stays quite stable in a healthy green range with just his regular LC food. That tells us 1.25 is still a good dose for him.
