Lori,
Yesterday's AM cycle looked really nice. He got a good drop from that dose into the blue numbers. But, I think what happened is that his system thought it was just a little bit "too good". Sometimes when they see BG they haven't seen in a while (120 is the upper end of a "normal" BG range), what happens is that the liver "panics". It dumps glucose into the blood stream, sort of an automatic reaction to stop "hypo". Even though his numbers weren't close to "hypo", his body probably thought so. So today, what it looks like is that he "bounced" a little bit.
This happens to most kitties, especially when they get numbers in a different color like blue or green. But the more Copper sees those numbers, the less likely he'll bounce.
It usually takes a day or two for the bounce to clear.
267 is the lowest PMPS reading you've gotten so far. Have you given him his PM shot yet? Maybe it needs to be just a bit lower tonight based on that PMPS reading.
