Copper- not sure what is going on

Well copper started out good with amps @290. SHot 1.6u and he has basically stayed high and flat all day. SO is the insulin not working. He was getting the same numbers yesterday all day and he was fur shot. Know for sure he wasn't fur shot this am. This is the end of this old vial, so wondering if maybe that is it. Or mabe too high or not high enough? Little confused, as usual w/ FD. I'll probably put this vial away for emergencies and start new vial tomorrow.

Any suggestions or ideas would be great! Pmps is at 8pm

Nice yellow amps so dose seems okay. If you are at the end of the vial, I guess I would start the new one.

I'm with opening a new vial, Lori. I don't see anything on the SS that would be causing high and flats, and he's used to this dose. If you open the new vial, stay with the same dose. That way if it's due to the old one being too old, you'll see that in the numbers and know for sure that is the issue.

I never had to deal with this issue. I bought a new vial a couple weeks before Bob went OTJ, because the old one was almost empty. I never opened it (ended up giving it away to some bean in CA that needed some PZI). Bob never did get to the very bottom of that first vial, and I still have it in the fridge! 10 years from now when he crosses the bridge, I'm going to have him cremated, and I'm going to have them toss the vial in the box before they seal it. :smile:

Yes, i agree with starting new vial. I will do tomorrow. This is the final weekend of craziness around our house with performances. So i will be in and out all weekend and will not be able to check him consistently. So might reduce a bit at first use of vial just in case.

His pmps was @319. So he did stay flat all day!!

GRRRRR....... Used new vial today and shot him, but another fur shot! It just came right back out of hole this time. Not sure what happened. I've never had so much trouble with shooting. Think i better pick another spot or something. Strange. Hate it because this is his third day he has bad numbers. Tonight i won't be home until late because of daughters performance....UGH....SO frustrating!
