Copper going lower and lower......

Haven't been around much and miss finding out how everyone is doing. Copper is doing just SUPER. His numbers have mainly been in the yellow's and low blue's with a few red here and there. I noticed that when his numbers are higher it's because i increased the insulin amount. So i decided to start lowering the insulin slowly and it works, at least so far. The lower i go on the insulin, the lower his ps number is. So i'm going to keep on the trend and see how he does. He is feeling great and all his neuropathy is gone with no damage at all on his legs, thank God! He is running up hills and exploring the neighborhood again. He loves his pond and frogs. Hasn't really hunted like he used to. Doesn't seem to be as "starved" as he used to be. He is now at 15lbs and vet says he is in really good shape and this is where he should be at for his size. No fat on him, just muscle now and lots of fur. I'm so happy that he is feeling so much better. I'm going to enjoy his happiness right now, because i know all too well how it can disappear so fast. I put his mthly flea stuff on tonight, so he may be off on numbers for a couple days. But after that, i'm hoping to keep decreasing the insulin. He is at 1.0 unit 2x day now. YEAH!

Hope all are doing well. Looks like all are doing well and numbers are coming down for everyone! Miss so many people that have moved on to the "L's". Hope they are all doing well.

Doing the limbo! Go, Copper, go!

I'm trying the same thing with Poopy, lowering the dose. Seems when I raise it, so does his numbers. And his numbers have been creeping up. Figure it's worth a try.

oh i agree. Poppy and copper seem to be similar in their chemistry. Yea, i do see that pattern for poppy too. Try the lower insulin doses very slowly and wait a couple of cycles and see what happens. It's amazing. I think our kitties "p" is healing. WIll keep praying for the limbo for you too!

Still need to put out an APB for Jenn/Baxter. Has anyone heard from them? I had her phone number, but can't put my hand on it... Kinda worried... she's never gone for this long without posting. Fingers crossed that they, and her sister, are doing okay.
