Copper 4/13- Good Fri 13th

He started off with the amps @389-YUCK. Not sure why he is so high the last two cycles. Can't imagine he would bounce a day after a cycle of low. Had his regular vet check-up today and routine blood work done. She felt like he was doing really well despite the higher ps's numbers. Thought the 1.6u was good for copper.

I tested him when i got home from vet @+4 and he was @ 298. Surprised he wasn't higher. Fed him. Will check him @+6.

Hope you all are having some nice cycle's on this Friday 13th.

Not bad numbers - goes to show what a good job you're doing w/ him. Grayson freaked out at the vet on Monday... of course the incessantly barking dog didn't help! His guys only bark when there's something to bark at!

I think i stressed out more than copper. Especially when they put that HUGE needle in his neck to take blood. I thought they took it from arms? He didn't even flinch! I couldn't look. My kids were very interested. My youngest wants to be a vet and always helps me with all the poke's,etc. She loves this stuff. I thought about training her to give shot since DH wants nothing to do with it, but she is only 7yrs old. Maybe in a couple of years.

How's grayson today? I've got to run to get my daughter ready for tonight's performance. It's going to be a long night!

(298) post vet is a great number! Hershey gets stressed by the funny smells, ALWAYS barking dogs and the people who aren't as warm and fuzzy as he's used to. So, they let you watch what they do to Copper? Doug always offers to help hold Hershey or whatever, to keep him from being so stressed, but they take him to another room and don't let any of us come. I KNOW that's stressful for him, too! Seems they'd want to do whatever they could to make it easier, but what do I know??

Good idea about training your daughter. I'm planning to train Jessica (although she doesn't know it, yet) and probably Joe, too (surprise to him, too) just in case I need them to help out - if I'm gone or sick, whatever. Even though they're gone a lot, you never know...I might would train her to poke, if you think she's ready.

Wish I had an answer for you about the running high, but you know we're in that boat paddling against the rapids with you!

pmps @ 244- WOW! FIrst yellow ps i've gotten in a long time. And on a day of a vet visit. Hmmm. Don't get it, but will take it.
Fed and shot 1.6u. Just took the +4 and @ 141 :o Oh, should i go to bed??? So tired. I think i will set me clock for 2hrs and test him again just to make sure he is ok. Can't believe he is doing so well after all the stress today. He even caught two moles that i know of. Didn't eat them. Just played and toyed with them. I took them from him, although i know they are good source of protein and low carbs. All in all, had a good day!

TWO moles??? Now that's a REALLY good day!!! And the numbers aren't bad either! :-D

It's always nice to have a back-up person or two around! My friends' daughter was about 5 when they started helping take care of my pets. She's now eleven, and is one of the few people who know every one of the kitties, and what they like. They also come to her, instead of running away as they used to. At this age, I would feel comforatable training her to test... I'm still a little guarded about the shooting. But then again, I have control issues! :o

I'm not saying the "T" word tonight. Too tired. Will start again in morning. I got until 12am on the 17th. A lot of time left....(ha, ha)
