Copper 2/2- Finally blue's again

I went up to 1.2u this am (amps 309). He did good today, with some blue's. I'm sure he went lower, but didn't want to test him again. He was acting really peaceful this afternoon and got out to play with moles and birdies.

His pmps @233. Didn't know for sure what to do. I think the 1.2u would be too much on this pmps, so gave 1u. Hope i made the right choice. What are your thoughts everyone?

Glad Copper had some "nature moments" today. And Lori, you're showing good instincts on the doses too.

Thanks! I hope i'm not the next in line for going low at night. I will watch him though since my shot schedule is earlier now. He already seems low just the way he is acting. I will test in an hour(2hrs post food spike) and see where he is at. I'm not sure my meter is correct either.

+3 @202. Oh dear, it's going to be a long night. He doesn't usually peak until +7. Maybe he will stay level. Anyone around tonight?

Good news about meter tonight. I finally was able to compare Relion meter with alpha and almost equal. Relion 202 AT 210. So maybe meter is working after all. Yea!

Glad about the meter. It's early but you have a long way to drop before he gets into scary numbers. And you know what to do if he does.

Oh and exercise will bring down the numbers so tell Copper to keep chasing the animals!!
 
He started going up last night so went to bed. I had to put on his Frontline Plus for fleas (very mild winter here) and this always stresses him out.

His amps is @331- UGH!!!

I wonder how much the Frontline effects kitty, and if it can effect BG levels???? My civvie lays around and pants while Poopy doesn't seem fazed a bit.
 
I'm not sure, but it definetly effects them. Both my cats act like they don't feel good all day after i give it to them. But i have to. Too many ticks and fleas this year.

+4@253 Not as high as yesterday. Not sure why. Maybe just takes days to settle into dose?

ECID, and it can take days for cats to settle into a dose. I've read on here where some wait weeks before changing dose as their cats take a bit longer to settle. Part of what makes it so "fun" to learn this dance. Each cat calls their own tunes.

Hope it will be ok. His nadir didn't really get to blue today. In fact, last night he stayed in the high yellows. Weird. So i figured 1.2u would be ok.

I use frontline plus on my guys. Bob doesn't seem to mind. Mullet doesn't like it much, and lays around grumpy for the rest of the day. I didn't try it on Bob until he was OTJ, but I know it didn't cause a rise above his normal 50-70 numbers, so I don't think it affects BG.
