I would like to post every day, but with a tid dosing schedule-- I can't get the information posted quick enough! Normally ,it is time to test and shoot "again" before I can get online.
So, here is a Kitty update before the information changes! My vet shot Kitty into rebound last Friday and it has taken the weekend for it to clear. I have a difficult time, finding a dose that "works" when she is in the low 200s. I have tried reductions, sticking with the dose etc....and no matter what I shoot the next preshot is normally pink. I have much more success shooting into a higher 200 or low 300--as far as keeping her in "good" numbers.
Kitty is getting into the blues on some mid cycle test and is having the occassional blue preshot.
I could probably increase her dose and get her in "better" numbers, but with my busy work schedule, I can't be so aggressive that I leave us unshootable at +8. I actually leave from work to give the midshot and if that number is unshootable, it could lead to me having to skip a shot. So, while I would like to be more aggressive, I must play it a little conservative!
I cut Kitty's fluids back, but I think it is effecting her numbers and I am going to start back giving them more frequently.
So, the whole cat report-----Kitty is doing pretty good for a 16 year old arthritic diabetic cat with Pancreatitis! Some days are a lot better than others, but she seems happy!
SS is updated!
Wishing you all a GREAT DAY!
