Good Morning...
It is 9 am on the East Coast, and I have completed an entire day's work!
Kitty's amps was 238 (tid)-- I shot 3.2 units. She is doing great, though I do have some concern about the amount of water she is consuming. When I find the time, I am going to take her in for some bloodwork. Her BGs are not high enough to warrant the amount of water she is drinking, and we did have some kidney concerns a few months ago--so I need to get her checked out. But, as far as bgs and diabetic conditions, she seems to be doing great.
I took Sally (dog) to the Vet hospital for additional test this morning. We (Sally, Kitty and I) left home at 5:30, to have Sally at the hospital in time for her drop off at 7 am. I had to take Kitty on the journey, because her morning shot was going to fall in the time period I was gone! So, Kitty was tested and shot at a convenince store! Kitty rides great, so there were no issues with taking her on the trip---she sat in my lap the entire way. Sally is spending the day at the vet hospital.....HOPEFULLY, the bloodwork and ultrasound will show improvements from last week. Her BG was 201 last night...and this actually was a decrease from her +9 reading of 234, so I am hoping her pancreas is trying to heal and that the diabetes might be transient. I guess time will tell.
I could use a nap already, but I am at work waiting to hear from the vet! (And Donna, thanks for the compliment.....BUT, trust me, I do not work in logistics!!!! Truly, it is all I can do to keep up with what is going on with Sally and Kitty.)
I will keep you updated, thanks for your concern. I hope everyone has a great day........
