I am going to try and do better about keeping up with my Kitty reports!

I have increased Kitty from 3.5 to 3.8, because she was starting to consistently get a little higher preshots than I like--mid 300s. Well, it appears she liked the increase--today's amps was 236 and her mdps was 216! :-D Who would have ever thought Kitty would be in these types of numbers?

I really do think one of the issues with Prozinc is duration and it appears to be a GREAT insulin when given at shorter intervals. When you are able to cut off the extreme ends of the curves, Prozinc can deliver some really nice numbers---even for complicated or complex kitties. Just my thoughts!!!

So, now if I can update her SS I will be up to date.

We do miss the Kitty reports. Glad she is doing well.

It is interesting that in some cats, ProZinc definitely peters out after 8 hours while others get a much longer cycle. Wonder why...... :?:

Yes, you need to do better with your Kitty reports! What, do you think you get to have a life outside this board? :mrgreen:

Sad, but true. While I was visiting with my parents, my mom told me my brother said it was a good thing I never had any children. They think I'm obsessed (not in a bad way as all my family have pets that are part of their families).

Good call on the 3.8, Kim. Any idea how low she went on it today?

Ginny, did you see my post the other day about my mother calling me a hoarder cause I took Petunia in? And the vet called me a "helicopter" kitty mom! :lol: And, do you remember that Kim's friends called us "crazy internet cat people"? :lol: We're getting a bad reputation!! Oh well, we could be doing worse things! haha_smiley

Not wanting to be a crazy internet cat person :mrgreen: but I also think one of the issues with ProZinc is when your cat nadirs.

Complex, let's dance this dance backwards, Payne ..... has a really early nadir, which is why t.i.d. works so well for us. And it seems to work well for Miss Kitty :) I'm glad she is doing so well Kim, quit working so hard and post more!

I'm so glad that Kitty is doing great, you've gotten so good at this.
 
I know I'm like the only "guy" in the room, but what is it with ladies and wine? I feel so out of the loop, but until sam adams starts selling something made with grapes, I am sticking with the boston lager!

Carl, quiet....don't tell them I really prefer bananna rum in pineapple juice! :mrgreen:
 
I’m with Carl. I am no wine drinker (unless it’s really cheap champagne). I'll have a Franziskaner wheat beer or the local brew, Yuengling Lager :)
 
Lol, yuengling is actually my favorite. Sam Adams was my "treat" this week.

I grew up 4 miles form the Yuengling Brewery. It is actually attached to a catholic church on one side, which always gives me a chuckle. Lager has always been my fave of their brews but when I used to live up there, to have a Black and Tan in a bar you’d order a Chesterfields Ale and a Porter and mix them in your glass. Now they barrel Black and Tan as the beer and the porter. Just not the same. Local info for another Ying yang fan ;)
