Converting ml to units

Jesse has cancer in his nasal cavity and I am giving him palliative care using Bupe for the pain. I am giving .12 to .15ml SubQ (cannot and will not stress him by giving it in his cheek pouch). With his pain managed he is doing really well - eating okay and all 5 P's in place :-D .

I have been using a 25 gauge needle and he is tolerating it okay. I would like to use an insulin syringe (for U100 insulin) but I have no clue how to convert his Bupe dose to units. I tried drawing .15 water and then putting it into the insulin syringe, but I'm afraid it's not accurate (most of the water stuck to the wall of the syringe and tapping at it made some come out).

Appreciate any assistance you can give me.
