Well as you can tell last few days have been very weird! I've had to adjust dosage a lil to avoid sending him hypo when I wasn't home. DH leaves about 2hrs before I get up so he pulls up the food before I do AMPS but he said Bitty was acting drunk this morning. Not sure what that entails but I told him next time he's acting strange TEST! Anyways his AMPS was 506  He hasn't been over 500 in 5 days so not sure what happened between last night & this morning. Thought I'd be safe & bump back up to 1U this am but just got home to test at +5 & it's 66 so thinking that's maybe too much yet. I gave him a few carb treats to avoid hypo as we're not quite to mid cycle yet. Should I just bump down to .8U for a few days consistently or .5U? Not sure if .8U is enough of a difference & I'm really struggling to get that measured right on a U100. Maybe I have the wrong ones but I find them harder than the 40's. TIA!

Um..yoi are using the conversion chart, right? 1u u40 is 2.5u u100; .8 looks like 2u, etc. 66 is okay unless you're using an alphatrak, just keep an eye on him until he gets below 50 or starts rising. .2u or even .1u can make a difference. Possibly the 500 is a bounce?

Yes I'm using the chart but I'm more referring to the .5U conversion. I'm not sure about the 500 reading, need to research exactly what a bounce is as I'm not 100% sure on that. I think I'll try .8U & see how he fairs with that. I'll be home most of the wknd so I can test more.

Those are some wacky numbers
I thinkI would reduce, maybe .50 or .75 and hold there for a little while
Boo is so up and down, from 500's to below 100...
I would try to even him out a little

I know that's why I'm confused, it's crazy. I make sure to only buy under 8% carb wet food so I don't think it's that. Think I'll just try .8U & test a lot this wknd. Thanks for the input!

Sounds like your boo and my copper are doing the same thing these days with wacky numbers.
