Confused with yesterday's cycle

Yesterday cycle in the daytime made a frown instead of a smile. His numbers continued to rise through +4, and very slowly started coming down. Then, his PMPS had to be stalled 40 minutes to get a shootable number. He stayed in the blues all night and hit one green,Yeah! Of course, this AM and big bounce. I understand that, just don't get what yesterday's frown cycle was about. Did he just have a late start with the AM dose and then hung onto it into the PM? Has anyone experienced that before? Any insight would be appreciated.
 
His whole yesterday was a little different. If we look at the overall picture, He had great numbers - nice amps, very nice pmps and beautiful nadir overnight. I wouldn't get hung up on a couple numbers - they are just that, a couple numbers. My theory is always - maybe he saw a squirrel! :D

Let's pretend, you didn't test those two times. If you hadn't, you'd be thrilled with yesterday!
 
Wow Bobbie - you are a trooper and probably a tired one at that. How nice to have caught that green. His body is definitely trying to get used to the insulin. He probably is going to run you around for a while until he figures out that those greens are safe for him....but such great night. Woo hoo!

Yes I am a tired puppy and got nervous last night thinking I would have to steer him with food but then he came up at +7 so I could go to sleep. ;) Hope he catches on quickly.
