Compounded Budesonide

My vet has prescribed Budesonide for one of my civvies. I got some compounded at my local Walgreens, 30 1mg capsules cost $39.39. Has anyone found a cheaper place? I called Wedgewood but they wouldn't give me a price without a prescription being sent to them. I hate to bother my vet to send a prescription if they aren't any cheaper.
 
I paid $36.25 for 30 .50 mg of Budesonide from the Physician's Compounding Pharmacy I use and that included local postage. Do you have a Walgreens Membership Card? I just had to get one, cost is $20 for a year, because I needed a med for one of mine that would cost $190 for 30 pills but by getting the card the cost was only $15. Go figure that one out......and they knew it was for a cat.
 
I asked about their card but they said you couldn't use it on compounded drugs, just my luck! I can't believe that med went from 190.00 to 15.00 with their card! Thanks!
 
I get Budesonide compounded in Oregon and they charge $48.00. So actually yours sounds pretty reasonable. Jan
