? Combatting a cold post anesthesia

Little One has developed a runny nose and a sneeze after his anesthesia and surgery last Thursday. The vet saw him Tuesday and said that his snot is still clear and his lungs sound clear. I think he just needs to ride it out. But, poor thing, he is breathing through his mouth and sneezing and his nose seems stuffed. Any tricks or at home remedies suggested to get him feeling better?

Steamy bathroom for awhile?

I agree with Paula. A steamy bathroom may help, or maybe a warm water humidifier if you have one. Feel better soon, Little One.

Some cats just love that steam. We have two that sit in the shower and stare "Make it go".
This runs in a cycle here, one cat, another cat, then we get the all clear. Some will put up with a damp warm paper towel to clean around the eyes and nose. If nothing else they seem to appreciate that you know.
Snot It's more realistic than discharge. I had a car that went like snot once.
