Chicken Little is showing some signs of improvement. The vet and I both think that all she has going on is Liver Failure and no Pancreatic problems. She refused to eat the food with any of the Pancreatic powder in it and then just when I thought all was lost she started making small improvements. She is eating very well and the constant drinking water has stopped. Her coat is looking much better and the cat dander is receding. She is still only pooping every other day however it is no longer the gray color that it has been for weeks and it has returned to the normal size and color. She is still licking her lips some but has not thrown up any of the white foam. I have stopped giving her Pepcid AC and now all she is getting is the Liver Pills and Insulin and I added Probiotics from Dr. Mercola to her regimen. I have had to get over my fear of giving her to much Insulin and have been much more aggressive with increasing her dose. We are up to 3 units per day and occasionally 3.25 units. At times she still seems a bit lethargic but she is around 17 years old and even at the best of times was sleeping a lot. I have enticed her to play a little bit each day and that's not a easy thing to get her to do!. Her food intake is down a bit but I think that is good because she is so overweight that she really needs to loose a few pounds. Overall I am thinking that we may turn this thing around!

No sooner than I made this post Cl took a poop and it is back to being gray again. This is a sign of end-of-lfe stages of liver failure. However since she seems to be feeling better and is in no pain I'm going to continue with treatment for now.
A little depressed though.

Oh Terry, it was so nice to read the first part of your post but then sad to read the footnote. It sounds like you are doing the right things to help her and that she has had a good couple of weeks. Extra time for both of you to enjoy and appreciate! I hope you can get her back to normal poops and that she will have more good days.

Please know that you are a wonderful mom to her and she knows how much you care and that you are doing your best to help. No kitty could ask for more - warm sunny days with Mom, some good meals and days when she feels well. ((hugs))

Thanks so much Sue, you make me feel so much better. Sometimes when they are not getting better we focus on the failure and we tend to forget what a good mom we try to be. I am enjoying every moment that I can with her and I am really appreciating what time we may have, be it 1 minute or 10 years! I've been trying to get the perfect picture for the calender this year.
BJ - Right now she is on Denosyl. It's made by the same company as the other 2 that you suggested. I have read about all 3 and they all sound beneficial. Its hard to know which one would be the best. I'm using the Denosyl because its the only one that my vet's office carries however I'm going to start ordering it from either Amazon or from Dr's Foster and Smith because my vets office is charging me $40 for it and on Amazon site and Drs F&S its only $19. I have also been giving her a dose of Dr Mercola Liver and Kidney support from time to time. Not everyday but about once a week. That is about all I can think of to do for her Liver except get her BG into at least the 230-250 range as I saw Sue advise someone else on the board. 40-120 would be better however I've never had a number in those ranges the entire time that I've been treating for diabetes (3 years) I am being much more aggressive in treating the diabetes and am getting over my fear of shoot her with to much.
Her numbers have been looking better however they are still not good enough. Last night at 12 plus she was 256 and I shot 3 units this AM at 12 plus she was 350 so I shot with 3.25 and I'll retest at 6+ to see where that put her. 350 is the highest she has been in a while.
Still just taking each day as it comes. She seems to be feeling really good today. She is catching bugs this morning :-D
