Does it have any floaties in it or anything? I want to say Prozinc is a bit cloudy...but it's been years since I've had any in the house. Do you roll it gently before using?
ProZinc is supposed to be cloudy if it's gently mixed. It settles out if it sits undisturbed. Anything that looks like little chunks or clumps is a sign that it's spoiled.
My new bottle of prozinc was clear with a white clump at the bottom and after rolling it gently for awhile it became cloudy and the clump for the most part looks likes it's gone. I think that's okay and not spoil?
Yes, the clump went away last night after gently rolling it and it's still gone today. I called the manufacturer of Prozinc and the customer service person answered and consulted with his supervisor and they both decided it was best I return the bottle to Costco Pharmacy (where I got it from about two weeks ago). I am not so confident that they knew much about the product and just figured it's the safest answer to give me. Also, because I didn't buy it from a licensed vet clinic there is nothing else they can do to help me. They can't guarantee a product from Costco
I wonder if this is true if I buy from online stores as well? Has anyone else experienced a manufacturer saying things are out of their hands when purchased from certain stores? Thanks!
