Just beautiful.
The mama's leave them where they think they will be safe and usually come back for them later. We had a mama who left her twins in the neighbors back yard almost every day, we could always tell when she had come back because the babies would get up and start wandering around and then we would spot her in the woods calling them.

This baby was bedded down in the neighbor's lillies. He wandered.across the streey, ip the.sidewalk, and onto my porch.
Keep in mind, I live inside town limits (small town, but still); I couldn't krep him if I wanted to-not legal. Hoping mama comes tonight & teaches him to stay out of the street. Too many college kids drive too fast on my road. Fortunately most of them are home.for the.summer right now.

So beautiful! I really hope nothing happened to its mom.
Lets us know if the mom came back for its baby tonight.
Oh...BTW...Cassie has pretty markings herself. She is a big kitty. I always visioned her as a little smaller. cat_pet_icon

Sometime between midnight & poke-a-kitty at 3, baby deer vanished from my porch. Whew. Glad momma found him.
Jenn: thanks for the compliment, although that's not the best pic.of Cass. Pre-FD he was.16 lbs, now down to a healthy 13. Ben weighs in at 12. If you check our profile (which needs updating) you'll see better pics of both boys.
