Cliff Notes: Week of 12/19

Trip delayed until tomorrow AM. Hope to get some rest today. Could not have driven today.

Amps=513 (4u given)
+2=513
+5=439
+8=379
*appetite seems to be improving as the day goes on

Needed a little hand feeding to eat. But appetite seems to be there. Just needs help getting started today.

Will be testing him in a few hrs.

Cliff seems ok today, a little lethargic. Needed more encouragement to eat, but ate good once he got started. Also came down to eat each time.

Might test ketones again before leaving. Hoping to leave in AM for quick trip home. @DaveyGandtheKitties will be in charge for a few pokes -- but he'll do great and I'll only be a phone call and 3hr drive away!! :)
 
Let us know if you get a ketone test in! Hopefully he'll feel better soon.

I'm sure the hubby will do great! I'm off til Tuesday so I'll keep an eye out for any messages from him!

Thanks! Will test ketones in AM. I just tested yesterday, and they were none to trace on blood ketones--only 0.4.
 
12/25 Merry Christmas!
Amps=366, fed, 4 units

  • Cats are good, ate well.
  • Syringes are prepped for Dave for next two cycles--at 4 units. I hope to be back midday tomorrow.
  • I'm going to test ketones before heading out the door!
 
Did a 2 for 1 by testing blood ketones and glucose with one poke. I got lucky with a large sample!
  • Ketones lowest I've ever seen on this meter at 0.3
  • +5 is 355
Drinking my coffee and then driving home. My dad had surgery christmas eve eve which went well, but i want to see him. @DaveyGandtheKitties taking the reins from here.

Thanks for all your help this week & past two months. I will likely be checking in here too.
