Clavamox antibiotics for kitty in remission safe?

Hi everyone just wanting to make sure it is okay to give a diabetic kitty in remission Clavamox antibiotics in pill form. I've heard that the drops can increase BG. Are the pills safe to give my cat without raising his BG?

The pills are fine. I think they only have a very little starch to hold them together.

The liquid ones are human meds for babies, hence the sweeteners.

Tablets are for older humans and animals. Coating them with a little butter helps them go down. Always follow a pill with a few mL of water so the pill doesn't get stuck in the esophagus.

If pilling doesn't work, you can put a small tablet into an oral syringe, suck in a bit of water, shake till dissolved, suck up some tasty mushy food, shake to blend and mask the taste, then give it with the oral syringe.
